Furthermore, we talk about Axie Infinity, Ethermon, our own PLAY token and much more interesting blockchain gaming news!

Interesting developments happen all the time in the blockchain space, but sometimes we don’t seem to appreciate these moments. Ethermon has been around for 4 years already, evolving. Axie Infinity battled through the crypto winter, and is now ready to conquer the planet. Animoca and The Sandbox reward active participants, and lots of projects are ramping up for the next steps in their development. These are exciting times, and the interest of companies like Sega and Hasbro underlines that we’re on the right track. NFTs are here to stay, and they are more than just art. We look at it…

Efinity, Xaya, Webaverse, Synergy of Serra, NFT sales, Esports and so much more!

The gaming community in the blockchain space is growing as more significant projects enter the space, and the user onboarding becomes easier. I’m happy to announce that the Play to Earn Game Festival had 13 thousand visits during the week. Even after the festival, the industry as a whole kept pushing forward. DappRadar reported on $1.5 BILLION in trading volume for dapps in these past three months, and then to imagine that this industry is just getting started. Xaya is expanding the reach of its blockchain service, Enjin announced plans for Efinity and Immutable X keeps signing up new partners…

While the Play to Earn Game Festival is attracting a big audience in the metaverse!

These past weeks have been a rollercoaster as I was building and creating the Play to Earn Game Festival powered by Gala Games. Now it’s amazing to see the entire event come to fruition. After three days we already beat the visitors amount of the first event, and we’re approaching the magical 10.000 slowly. This week Infinite Fleet gained some mainstream game media coverage thanks to their new trailer, while Ember Sword and My Neighbor Alice had highly anticipated news about their upcoming land sales. MotoGP launched its first NFT sale, and news about Guild of Guardians, Gods Unchained, Alien…

Crazy Kings, My Neighbor Alice, Axie Infinity, and much more NFT news!

While the world is going bananas over art, we are looking to the future: gaming. With Axie Infinity, Upland and Alien Worlds there are already solid games out there, but a lot more is coming. The best of the best in the free-to-play market will make a transition into play-to-earn, and currently Animoca Brands is experimenting with this transformation. At the same time we are preparing for the biggest virtual gaming event the metaverse has ever seen, the Play to Earn Game Festival! I’m hyped and can’t wait to have you and rest of the community walking around the festival…

Christie’s, Taco Bell, the Wu Tang Clan, Atari, Steve Aoki, all discovering NFTs!

Bonkers. Absolutely crazy! That’s it. That’s my summary for this week. Record sales for NFTs have shattered as Beeple stole the crown. He will probably remain king for many months or years to come. This week we’ve truly seen history being made. Then to image that the most fun news of this week is the fact that you can soon order actual pizza within a virtual world. Got to appreciate the little things right? Talking about food, Taco Bell also made an hilarious mistake while selling their NFTs. Robert Hoogendoorn

This week: The Sandbox, copycat scams, big Enjin news, Guild of Guardians & more!

What do you think? This blockchain thing could become big one day, right? It really feels like one big rollercoaster ride. Every week there are new projects, new artists, new developments, technologies and creations. It’s amazing. If you’re hyped about play-to-earn gaming, NFT games or whatever you want to call them, keep an eye on our upcoming game festival, powered by Gala Games. This week we had a major announcement about that, while Kings of Leon, Steve Aoki and Ubisoft entered the realm of NFTs and blockchain. This is going to be a wild ride in the months to come……

This week: Beeple, NBA Top Shot, Axie Infinity, Euler Beats, MotoGP, Mirandus & more

Even though Optimism just said that their scaling solution for Ethereum is coming in March, many development teams have been looking around for other solutions. This week we’ve seen many projects announce their moves to either Polygon or Immutable X, while even Binance Smart Chain popped up as a solution. At the same time general interest in NFTs is still increasing according to Google Trends, driven by NBA Top Shot, Celebrity interest, Beeple and major sales in the art scene. I’m not worried about the price of crypto, because adoption is happening right now! Robert Hoogendoorn

This week: Gala Games, Animoca Brands, The Sandbox, F1 Delta Time and more!

This has been a big week for the blockchain industry and Play to Earn. Not only did we announce the first sponsor for our upcoming event, we’ve also announced when the second Play to Earn Game Festival will take place. At the same time the blockchain space is seeing tremendous growth, from bitcoin reaching a valuation of $50.000 to NBA Top Shot appealing to mainstream users. At the same CryptoPunks keeps pumping in value, as we saw a new record sale this week. Did you know that the popularity of the word NFT reached its highest points ever on Google…

Counter-Strike, Microsoft, Lindsay Lohan, Atari, the NBA & more!

This has been another mind blowing week in the world of blockchain and NFTs. We’ve seen a record NFT transaction with a total value of more than 1.5 million dollars. At the same time several celebrities have entered the space, including Mesut Özil and Lindsay Lohan. Microsoft jumped into the NFT space together with Enjin, while a very cool third-party plugin launched that allows players to earn (or lose) bitcoin while playing Counter-Strike. So much developments this week, it’s unbelievable to imagine that this revolution of digital ownership and user empowerment is just getting started. 😎 — Robert Hoogendoorn

420 ETH for an NFT that was acquired for less than 1% of that

The Ethereum blockchain and its DeFi services are so popular, that gas fees are often more than $100. I’ve even seen gas fees for complicated transactions that were more than 1 ETH. The cry for layer-2 solutions is definitely getting louder, even though it’s good to see that decentralized infrastructures are gaining traction. In the world of gaming Axie Infinity launched their sidechain solution, solving the Ethereum problem. At the same time the digital art / collectible project Hashmasks made headlines with unprecedented amounts of NFT trading. So much action happening in the NFT space, good thing you’re subscribed. …
