Earn bitcoin by shopping at Albertsons and Safeway
Bitcoin rewards platform Lolli has partnered with two major American retailers: Albertsons and Safeway. This means that people who shop at over 900 locations in the United States, can get a small percentage of their shopping expenses back in bitcoin. This was announced by Lolli CEO Alex Adelman in a show by Yahoo Finance.
The partnership is one of the first major ones for the reward program service. Lolli already has partnerships with major online retailers, but the newly announced partnership brings the bitcoin reward program into the world of actual grocery shopping. Safeway has almost 900 locations in the United States, while Albertsons has approximately 2300 locations.
Last month Lolli announced a partnership with Hotels.com, adding the travel booking website to the platform that was already supported by Booking.com. The bitcoin reward program already has partnerships with hundreds of e-commerce businesses, ranging from Walmart to Gap and Hilton. When you purchase something through Lolli, they make some money. But a percentage of that money goes back to the consumer as a bitcoin transaction into their Lolli bitcoin wallet.
