Tipping on Twitter now enabled in Brave browser
The crypto-powered Brave browser now allows its users to tip people on Twitter. In the bottom right corner of a tweet, a button will appear. Users can leave a small amount of Brave Attention Token (BAT) when they click the button. Users can opt-in for recurring tips to certain Twitter users as well.
Brave is a privacy-oriented browser with an implemented reward system. For using Brave, users are rewarded monthly in BAT. While surfing the internet, content creators are automatically rewarded when people check their content. These creators do need to sign-up as a publisher though.
BAT has been on the market for some time. The token is integrated in the reward system in the Brave browser. This browser blocks ads and even has integrated options to surf using TOR. That’s why Brave is considered a privacy-oriented browser. Currently more than 30 million people are using Brave.
